Risk disclosure

Last updated 2026-09-02

Read this before you put money in, not after. If any of it is unacceptable to you, do not open an account.

Not yet reviewed by a lawyer

This document was drafted to be clear and honest about how the platform actually works, but it has not been settled by a qualified lawyer in the jurisdiction this operates in. It must be reviewed before the platform takes money from the public.

You can lose money

The value of an investment can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you put in, and in the worst case you could lose the whole amount.

Returns are variable

No product on this platform pays a guaranteed, fixed or risk free return. What you are paid depends on how the underlying activity performs and on our ability to pay it. An investment product applies a published rate to the amount you place, and that rate can change. A mining product has no rate at all: it pays a share of what the hardware actually earned in a period, after the pool fee and running costs, which moves with the network.

The terms attached to a position are recorded on the day you open it, so we are not changing the arrangement underneath you. That is a statement about the terms, not about the money: neither the return nor the capital is promised. Treat any platform that describes a return as guaranteed with suspicion, including this one if it ever does.

This is not a bank deposit

Money held with Financial Trust Exchange LTD is not a bank deposit. It is not covered by a deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme. If the platform became insolvent you would rank as a creditor, and you might recover only part of your balance, or none of it.

Your money is not instantly available

A product with a term locks your capital for that term. You can exit early, but a fee may apply and it is deducted from what is returned. Separately, every withdrawal is approved by a person before payout, so no withdrawal is instant. Do not invest money you may need at short notice.

Crypto prices are volatile

Where the platform displays crypto prices, those markets move sharply and can move a long way in a single day. Prices shown are indicative, are cached rather than live, and are not a quote to trade at.

Concentration

Holding a large share of your savings in any single platform, including this one, concentrates your risk in one place. Diversification does not remove risk but it does limit how much a single failure can cost you.

Tax

Returns may be taxable where you live and it is your responsibility to declare them. We do not give tax advice.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask before you invest. A question you did not ask is not a defence you get to use later, and it is not one we want to rely on.
